TRAINING

    Our Chief Training Officer is a retired U.S. Treasury Agent. At time of retirement, he was a Senior Special Agent, GS 1811 with over twenty-one (21) years experience, which included: Supervisory Criminal Investigator; Firearms Range Officer and Firearms Instructor; Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, GA; Instructor at the Internal Revenue Service Regional Training Center, Atlanta, GA; and Instructor at the Internal Revenue Service District Training Center, New Orleans, LA. The Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners certifies him as a Classroom and Firearms Instructor. The National Rifle association certifies him as a Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor. The National Association of Certifies Fraud Examiners certifies him as a Certified Fraud Examiner.

     Our staff includes in-house instructors certified by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners. Our Instructors are retired Federal Law Enforcement Agents who were former instructors at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. By utilizing these instructors, we endeavor to maximize the proficiency of our security staff through achievement and adherence of training, appearance, and professional standards comparable to expectations on the federal level.

     All personnel receive a minimum of 16 hours of basic security officer training, to meet the State of Louisiana Security Officer requirements.  After passing the course with an acceptable score, they are certified and assigned to various posts.  

     When an officer assumes their new post, they undergo additional, "site specific" training that may include such topics as fire evacuation routes, OSHA regulations, hazmat awareness and material safety data sheet procedure, first aid or self-contained breathing apparatus.  Afterwards, our security personnel receive ongoing refresher training, reviews and site inspections by our supervisors to maintain top quality service.
